About Us
N.A.O.C. originated as a United States business with our hunting & fishing operation in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is owned by John Knox, LaGrange, GA, and Al Aldison, Sledge, MS. We established this outfitting operation in March of 2001. Both owners are very active in the outdoors, both hunting and fishing. Our goal was to take an existing outfitting business, which hadn't been operated efficiently in the past and turn it into an operation that is second to none in deer and bear hunting for our region. We have had many unpleasant trips to Canada which resulted in poor lodging, unacceptable food, and unbearable conditions for hunting, and guides that knew absolutely nothing about deer hunting. At Darsana Lodge, our facility in Saskatchewan, you will find just the opposite of this, along with very courteous and knowledgeable people to make your hunting or fishing experience one that will keep you coming back year after year.
Location
Darsana Lodge, at Lac La Plonge, is located approximately 4 hours northwest of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In planning your flight arrangements, Saskatoon should be your final destination. At this point, we recommend a van rental to bring you to our lodge. Below, is a map showing the route from Saskatoon to Lac La Plonge.
Darsana Lodge Directions
From Saskatoon, take highway #16 west to North Battleford. Go through North Battleford to Territorial Drive. Go past Walmart to stop light and turn right on Highway #4 to Meadow Lake. Then take highway #55 to Green Lake, then highway #155 North to Beauval and onto Lac La Plonge. Your final destination is Darsana Lodge in Lac La Plonge approximately 4-41/2 hours from Saskatoon. Check in at the restaurant and ask for Blair, who is the manager for all of the guides and will take care of the hunting. If you want to pick up alcoholic beverages before arriving at the lodge, I would recommend stopping in Saskatoon, North Battleford or Meadow Lake.
