Our bear hunting is second to none. We have an enormous amount of bear in our area with the color phase at approximately 40%. we hunt from 2-man ladder stands as well as lock-ons. All of our hunting is done over bait that is checked on a daily basis. In our eighteen seasons of operation, we have had an opportunity success ration of 100%. It is common to take bear over 300 pounds and 19 inch skulls in our area.
Bear may be taken by gun or bow. Our hunts are only in May. A maximum of nine hunters are taken per week. We also furnish, at no extra charge, a boat for our hunters to fish in the lakes and rivers near our lodge. We have two lakes and the Beaver River that offer excellent fishing with an abundance of Walleye, Nothern Pike, Lake Trout.
